BARRO Y CÓDIGO

From the digital model to the physical piece: 3D printing with clay is transforming the way we conceive and produce ceramic objects.

This introductory workshop covers the entire process: from digital modelling and file preparation, to calibrating the printer and working directly with the material to bring the piece to its final ceramic state.

We offer an experimental approach that bridges digital design with our craft as ceramicists, focusing on the material, the process and its expressive potential.

A space open to artists, designers and anyone with a curiosity to explore new forms of creation at the intersection of technology and craftsmanship.

This course stems from a collaboration between ALTAR [a project led by Betiana Pavón, a designer, researcher and lecturer specialising in material innovation, sustainability and digital fabrication] and ImPOTsible Ceramics [a laboratory led by Eulàlia Naveira and Georgina Konstantakopoulou, artists and lecturers who develop practices in experimentation and knowledge transfer within the field of contemporary ceramics].
