COMPOSTABLE OFFERINGS

‘Compostable Offerings’ is a workshop that examines biofabrication as a sustainable design practice through the transformation of organic waste into 100% compostable biomaterials. Combining theoretical and practical methodologies, the course introduces participants to material sourcing, processing, and fabrication techniques within a circular design framework.

Using ritual as a conceptual lens, the workshop explores alternative relationships between materiality, ecology, and making, encouraging participants to reconsider waste as a regenerative resource. The course promotes biofabrication as a methodology for environmental awareness, material innovation, and artistic research.
